I agree that any visual images (photographic and/or video), audio recordings submitted by me become the property of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology ("SAIT") and are subject to SAIT's AD.4.7.2 Filming Procedure.


I grant SAIT, its representatives, assigns and those acting with its permission the irrevocable right to:

  • Copyright the submitted materials in SAIT's name or any other name it chooses;
  • Reproduce, distribute, publish and use the materials, in whole or in part, in any print or digital medium for any purpose, including promotion, advertising, learning materials, broadcasting and online publication; and
  • Use my name in connection with the materials, if SAIT chooses.

I release and hold harmless SAIT, its representatives, assigns, employees and those acting under its authority from any claims, demands or liabilities arising from the use of these materials.

The personal information collected through this contest, including participants' names, program information, contact information, and submitted video content, will be used to administer the contest, contact winners, and for related contest and donor stewardship purposes. Submitted videos may also be used by SAIT for promotional, recognition, and thank-you communications, with participant consent where required. This collection is authorized by section 4(c) of the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA).   3. Click ‘Start Recording’ and wait for the 3 second countdown.
  4. When you are finished recording, click ‘Stop Recording.’
  5. Wait for your video to upload to our servers.
  6. Click the play button to review your video. If you are not satisfied with your recording, you can click ‘Rerecord’ and try again. If you are satisfied with your recording, click ‘Submit Video’.
  7. Accept our terms and conditions to complete submission.
  1. Select ‘Record Video’ to begin the process.
  2. Click ‘Record Video’ or ‘Upload Video’. Please wait for your video to upload to our servers.
  3. Click the play button to review your video. You can rerecord or upload another video if you are not satisfied with your recording.
  4. If you are satisfied with your recording, click ‘Submit Video’ and ‘Continue’ to accept our terms and conditions and submit your video.
